Threat Score and Opportunity Score: reading the competition at a glance

Two numbers that sum up who is drawing attention and where an opportunity is opening up.

Threat Score

It expresses how active and threatening a competitor is — calculated from price activity, new products, expansion and hiring. The higher the number, the more attention is warranted.

Opportunity Score

It shows where a competitor is easing off — fewer new products, rising prices, low activity. That is exactly where room opens up for you.

Using them together

Combining the two scores gives a quick picture of the whole market: whom to watch carefully and where to push.
